It has been a long time since I posted anything, mostly because we have been very busy with other things. Since the last blog the big news is that I am still cancer-free which continues to amaze the physicians at Mayo. At this time I am still working as a dentist and have opened an new office that I truly believe was a gift from God.
My hip is continuing to give me grief as I still have a pathologic fracture in the iliac bone of the hip and the soft tissue around the area is still very inflamed at times, which has led to me being on and off of crutches. As I work through this I am still standing on God’s Word for healing and the strength to carry me through.
I would say to anyone reading this that believing is not ‘easy’ as it requires a ‘firmness of stance’ that at times make no sense and can make you look a bit crazy. I would encourage you to continue to seek a relationship with God and know that He is always there, even when it does not look that way. This is definitely the path least followed, but it is the correct path.
Life is a gift and a miracle in itself. Whatever your belief about man’s origin whether you are a creationist, an intelligent design fan, an evolutionist or a mixture of these theories, the opportunity to live on earth as a human is truly remarkable and a privilege. Grab it and live it to the fullest because in the end you will not have regret.
For me living in this world with all of its problems is placed in the shadows by the knowledge of a loving God, that created me in His image and continues to love and watch over me until I am called home. The ride won’t be smooth, but His love and faithfulness will keep us and bring Glory unto Himself.
Good morning everyone….. I want to thank those of you that have purchased my book. I pray that the story of my struggles with health will give those of you that are having health issues hope. God is always there even though at times it seems that is not so. Struggles are a part of life, but Jesus came to give life, not just life, but life more abundant (John 10:10). Satan wants to steal what is legally ours, so we must stand up and claim what is ours in the name of Jesus Christ. I am having an ongoing battle with my right hip. Today it is sore and tight. The surgeon said the hip is correctly positioned and well integrated, so the pain must be coming from the soft tissues around the area. I believe what he says, but I also believe what the Word says about my being healed. I am choosing to stand with the Word and believe for the complete manifestation of the healing that Jesus so long ago paid for. If the gift is paid for, I’ll take the gift. I wouldn’t want to insult the giver.(LOL). I suggest you do the same and stand strong in God’s Word contending for what is yours and mine through Christ. Healing is for everyone. Praise be to the Lord.
